Welcome to Manor Maintenance Ltd. By using this website and/or engaging our services ("Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or request our services.
"We", "us" and "our" refer to Manor Maintenance Ltd (company number 16696073, VAT number 504 4763 03).
"You" or "Customer" refers to any person or company requesting or using our Services.
These Terms govern (a) your use of our website and (b) any contract for maintenance, repair, or related services provided by us.
We provide building maintenance and related services for commercial and domestic properties, including but not limited to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, drainage, security systems, cleaning, and emergency repairs.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Services include only what is specified in the written quotation or work order. Any additional work, parts, or services not listed must be agreed separately.
We will perform services with reasonable care and skill using qualified personnel.
All quotes or proposals provided by us are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing (or via formal confirmation) or when we start work following your acceptance.
By accepting our quotation or allowing us to begin work, you confirm your agreement to these Terms.
Our invoices are payable within 30 days of invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, credit/debit card.
Late payments may incur interest or late fees of 10% per month.
If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to suspend further work until payment is received.
If you wish to cancel or change scheduled work, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
We reserve the right to apply cancellation or re-scheduling fees if notice is not provided in time, or if work has already been mobilised.
We will perform Services with reasonable care and skill.
Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability for any claim (whether tort, contract or otherwise) is limited to the amount paid by you under the relevant contract.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (e.g. loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of use).
We do not guarantee that work will be entirely free of defects indefinitely — we will honour any warranty or guarantee explicitly stated in the quotation or work order.
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the property (and any required permissions) so we can carry out the work.
You agree to inform us of any known hazards or risks at the site prior to commencement.
We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by unsafe or restricted access, concealed defects, or delay in your providing access or information.
We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at any given time will apply.
By continuing to use our website or Services after changes, you accept the updated Terms.
Use of our website must comply with applicable laws; you must not misuse the site or content (e.g. by unauthorised copying, distribution, or defamation).
These Terms, and any contract between you and us, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
In the event of a dispute, you and we will try to reach an amicable settlement. If that fails, disputes may be resolved via the courts of England and Wales.
